Fully Booked: March 2021

I didn't have a lot to say about the books I read this month so I overcompensated with media images and video.

Iacocca: An Autobiography by Lee Iacocca and William Novak

I picked this book up last March at the Denver Public Library's used book sale. It was $3 and a book I've always thought I should own seeing as I am a Professional Business Woman.

Honestly, I wasn't excited to read this book. It's long and about cars. But I bought it, so I figured I should probably read it. That way I could say that I had read it.

Lee Iacocca was a businessman and his book is filled with business-y words. Granted, it was written in 1984 from a very specific point of view, so, a lot of it is vastly outdated and certainly biased. But, grain of salt. Iacocca had a lot of management insight to provide. And as a Professional Business Woman, I appreciated his parables and words of wisdom. Oh, and he did not like Henry Ford.

I liked this book. 34/44

Something to Talk About by Meryl Wilsner

This book was basically The Devil Wears Prada. Except that it is set in the entertainment industry instead of fashion. And Meryl Streep is younger and nicer. And Anne Hathway and Meryl Streep fall in love with each other.

Okay, it's nothing like The Devil Wears Prada.

Also, the title kept Something to Talk About in my head for a month. Except that it was the version in Step Brothers that Will Ferrell sings. What can ya do.

This book was fun, though. 8.5/11

Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat: The BRRRR Rental Property Investment Strategy Made Simple by David Greene

Let me break the BRRR rental property investment strategy down real easy. What you do is you buy a property. Boom. Then you rehab that property. Pow. Then you rent that property out. Ka-ching. Then you refinance the property. Double ka-ching. Now the next thing is very import. You then you buy another property. Then you rehab that property. Then you rent that property out. Then you refinance the property. Then you buy a property. Then you rehab that property. Then you rent that property out. Then you refinance the property. Then you buy a property. Then you rehab that property. Then you rent that property out. Then you refin...

In conclusion (and depicted with images I created in MS paint):

Rent

Refinance

until the end of time.

Now, you're a millionaire. Congratulations!
